Chris Roach

      Chris has over 30 years in the restaurant and bar business.  He started his restaurant career working for the Milleridge Inn in 1971 and worked for 5 years in both the kitchen and bakery.  Chris also worked as a busboy from1974 – 76 at The Bounty Inn in Hicksville.  It was at The Bounty Inn that Chris first began to develop an interest in bartending. He then moved on to become a bartender for the next 5 years at The Little Country Pub in Hicksville. In 1981 he was hired at another of Hicksville’s hot-spots, Scruples. He worked there until 1984 when he began to travel internationally for his full time telecommunications job. Chris returned to bartending in 1988 and for the next 15 years, Chris worked only part-time as a bartender in a number of Hicksville restaurants  In March of 2001 Chris began working as a bartender at the Maine Maid Inn in Jericho. He remained there until July of 2002 when he left to open Butterfields.

      Chris was born and raised in Hicksville and has also always been very active in the Hicksville community.  Chris coached in the Hicksville PAL lacrosse program for 11 years. Chris has lived in the neighboring town of Bethpage since 1991.  He has coached in the Bethpage PAL Lacrosse program for the past 3 years.
